  • Attend Job Fairs within the community

  • Research events for networking.

  • Create and Implement a Fundraising Strategy.

  • Utilize Social Media and Develop Strategies for web-based messaging.

  • Pitch story ideas to print, broadcast (radio), and digital media.

  • Take on assignments as needed.


Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate student in the Hampton Roads majoring in Sales, Marketing, or Advertising.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Extensive knowledge of social media.

  • Driven and hard-working.

  • Ability to take direction and multi-task.

  • PowerPoint, Word and Excel experience


Details:

  • This is an unpaid internship, although college credit is available.

  • The internship is 16 hours per week for 12 weeks, Must be available for all meetings.

  • Upon completion of the program, interns will receive a letter of recommendation.

job duties:

  • Sending emails/follow up emails.

  • Putting together PowerPoints.

  • Calendar Management.

  • Taking meeting minutes.

  • Scan and electronically file documents (Paper documents as well).

  • Organizing supplies and office environment.

  • Assist in arranging meeting, conferences, and project team activities.


Qualifications:

 

  • Undergraduate student in the Hampton Roads.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Excellent Organization Skills.

  • Driven and hard-working.

  • Ability to take direction and multi-task.

  • PowerPoint, Word and Excel experience


Details:

job duties:

  • Assist with various projects and initiatives assigned by the manager

  • Observe and Evaluate participants on interview skills, knowledge of resume workshop, employment outcome, and feedback.

  • Maintain ongoing relationship with participants after workshop, until they have obtained employment, and 30 days thereafter.

  • Assist with creative hands on activities that align with established curriculum

  • Conduct collaborative contact with guest speakers and potential participants and/or parents

  • Facilitate collaborations with employers and participants to obtain employment, support planning of employer recruitment initiatives

  •  Collaborate with Marketing Interns (at least 1x weekly)


Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate student in the Hampton Roads for Program Management/Development or Human Resources

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Comprehensive knowledge of career paths, career exploration, employment market, and hiring job search practices

  • Familiarity with resume-building, cover letter review, and interview preparation

  • Driven and hard-working.

  • Ability to take direction and multi-task.

  • PowerPoint, Word and Excel experience
